nice to hold

once broken

considered sold

Boredom…..

The epidemic had begun,

Killing none,

It lasted as long as the sun.

Boredom was its name,

Torture was its game.

It hit us after exams,

Weak like lambs,

We had no defense.

Tortured further by time,

We were incense.

Murder is a crime,

Why do thou still crawl?

Thou shalt fly high and tall.

Boredom we abhor,

A cure shall be found

Prepare to leave through the door.

P6 students:

Young, ignorant, frightened,

We were but fools.

On a quest to be enlightened,

We started primary school.

Motivation was our fuel,

Guided by teachers,

We transformed into different creatures.

Hatred soon grew,

Books, teachers, we abhor.

Our homework were overdue,

Studying soon became a chore.

Play was what we wanted,

We soon got addicted.

Some got hooked onto the virtual world.

Some took up soccer and became a goalie,

Diminishing slowly,

Was our desire to soar.

While PSLE was a galaxy away

We kept our books at bay.

Until one fine day,

It hit us.

We started to pray,

Hoping to be blessed,

It was only then did we woke up.

For good.

Angry students:

Cruel and inhumane,

They torture our brain.

To acquire their bragging rights,

We had to study throughout countless nights.

You could have easily guessed,

We were fatigued and stressed.

We hated tests.

We hated them more.

Yeah, we want to soar

But not to that extent.

Studying we abhor,

We are not for you to torment.

Freedom we will fight for

Play we will get

Death awaits you

Do not regret.

Your debt is overdued.

Its time to pay the bill.....

Pay with your life.......

Tortured :

In this kiasu environment,

We are but objects of comparison,

Capable of causing embarrassment

Capable of giving bragging rights

Fatigued and stressed,

We almost died.

Pushed to our limits,

They nag at us till we commit.

Homework and tuition,

Soon, we will die from exhaustion.

Graduation:

School's out

Memories past

Dont ever doubt

Our friendship will last.

Reason why today is called the present:

Yesterday was History

Tomorrow is a Mystery

Today is a gift.Thats why its called the Present.
